Individual Membership is open to any individual who is interested in promoting safe and efficient plumbing and mechanical systems and advancing the purposes of IAPMO.

Open to any individual who is enrolled as a full-time student or apprentice in a recognized school or other institute of learning and pursuing a degree or a certificate of competence in engineering, architecture or the mechanical arts. A valid student ID or proof of enrollment, transcripts, or schedule is required within 10 days of application.

Note: Your membership will not become "Active" until your student status has been verified. 

Senior Membership is open to any individual who is 62 years or older and having the desire to advance the purposes of IAPMO.

Organization Membeship is open to any national or international association, bookstore, society, educational institution, manufacturer, corporation, or company desiring to advance and support the purposes of IAPMO.

With Organization Membership, all employees of the Organization Member are eligible to receive member benefits. Additionally, the voting representative of the Organization Member will receive a free UPC and UMC soft cover code as each new code edition is published.*

Government Membership - Government members are governmental agencies, departments, or units engaged in administration, formulation, or enforcement of laws, regulations, or ordinances relating to public health, safety, and welfare. Annual member dues are based on population. This category of member is different from Regular-Individual membrship in that all employees of the Government Member are eligible to receive member benefits.

As an added benefit, the voting representative of the IAPMO Government Member will receive a free UPC and UMC soft cover code as each new edition is published-that's two free books every three years!

An individual currently residing outside the United States of America and Canada desiring to advance the purposes of the Association. An International Member shall have all the rights of a Regular Member except an International Member shall not be entitled to vote; shall not be eligible to hold any office or directorship in any governing body of the Association and shall receive all services provided to members in electronic format.
